"Hosta In Urn"
6x8

Day Three of the 2nd Annual Plein Air Festival. Today we painted in the historic district of Gadsden. Gale and I found the secret garden, as we called it, of Mr. and Mrs. Joel Woods on Turrentine. It was so pretty and shady that we stayed and painted there all day long. Everywhere that you turned in their garden was a possible painting scene. We had a great day painting.

I loved painting the wine bottles in the window. This was a window onto the garage in the back yard.

I loved the purple bush in this picture. I also like the little jockey statue in the
corner of the garden. I was fun to paint.
