One of my goals this summer was to paint. I did not consider myself as a painter. I wanted to try and discipline myself to paint everyday or every couple of days. This was very hard to do. Number one to get back into painting and number two, to jump right in and get it done. I wanted to gain a better understanding of oil painting. I also wanted to paint alot quicker and not be so tight and controlling in my painting. I still have alot more to study of the subject. These paintings were done during June and July. They are in oils on 9"x12" canvas boards.
