In looking back at my blog, I thought I had posted my paintings from Venice, Italy. I posted a video montage but not the paintings. Here are three of the ones I completed. This was the first plein air painting experience in 2008. I was able to work with Jeanne Mackenzie from Colorado. She was a really great instructor. It was a challenge to be painting on the streets of Venice and painting plein air for the first time. But this oportunity was one of the most rewarding experiences that I have had as an artist. I feel that I have grown since this experience. With every painting session, I learn more and more. Art is a growing pleasure...but finding the time to paint....?
